From James - “I was born in a town of only three hundred people, went to school with a class size of seventy, and would often play with my friends on mounds of dirt and sand behind city hall. Then life did what it does best and changed. I moved to a proper city and attended high school where the classrooms seated close to fifty. The cultural shock was more than I expected, as none of the manners taught in a small farm school were commonplace here. So, I stayed low, did my work, and went home. Often I would spend my free time imagining my own takes on fictional worlds, or creating new stories within sandbox-style games. It was never enough for me. I kept building, creating, and even began a short story. However, nothing stops, and life demanded I choose a path. So, I moved to Tulsa, an even bigger city, to train as a student pilot and eventually gain my commercial certifications. This… did not go well and is a story for another time. But this is my own story, one that taught, and is still teaching me, how the old can transform into the new. It certainly has been interesting, and I know this journey is not over.”
